Meet Lisa
Hi! I am Lisa, the founder of Altogether Beautiful Co., also known as “Honey” by my grandbaby - and it seems to be catching. I live with my family in dreamy Kalispell, MT. I am a Christian and a 3rd generation veteran.
My purpose and passion is to help women identify any untended areas of their lives and walk them through a transformation so that she may know and believe she is worthy of love, attention, and effort. You are altogether beautiful, you just need to see it and believe it.
Like many women, I got scooped up by familial and career responsibilities and they quickly took over and maintained control of my life. After 2+ decades of this whirlwind, I exhausted myself and woke up depressed and with impactful vitamin deficiencies. This situation affected my ability to remember most anything (long or short-term), relate to those close to me without an outburst (tears or yelling) or function at work. I was a mess! A total mess.
My Story
I went to my doctor and bawled like a baby. She immediately put me on medical leave from work and started me on vitamin injections that were expected to take at least 6 weeks to make any noticeable impact. But my treatment didn’t stop there…add 2+ years of independent counseling, marital counseling, books, sermons, retreats, mission trips, learning how to rest (not my strong suit), Tirzepatide and a gym membership.
Oh! Did I mention that in the midst of my treatment, I was laid off from my job where I had been grinding for nearly 10 years for a successful startup that IPO’d during my tenure. After 6 months, I started trying to find work again and the right thing didn’t turn up for 2.5 YEARS. Years!
And what I looked like on the outside 100% represented how I felt on the inside.
I felt lonely, unworthy, taken advantage of, small on the inside and giant on the outside, old, irrelevant, stupid, unfeminine, gross, sad.
This was me.
After countless hours of prayer, support, and all that I listed above, this is me…NOW.
I feel content with my me time, validated, healthy, whole, loved by my Heavenly Father, relevant, smart, focused, important and beautiful.
