FAQs

  • ABCo is not a makeover service. It is not about turning you into someone else’s idea of “beautiful".

It is about helping you discover what God already deposited inside you — and finding ways to set that free! True beauty flows from the heart. Jesus said it plainly: it is not what goes into a person that defiles them, but what comes out (Mark 7:15). Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks (Matt 12:34). What we carry inside shapes everything — how we walk into a room, how we treat people, how we see ourselves in the mirror.

ABCo exists to find the beauty from the inside and let the outer expression follow from that place.

  • Any woman who has ever looked in the mirror and not recognized herself. Any woman who was handed a definition of beautiful that she never fit — and believed it was her fault. Any woman who has been so busy pouring into everyone else that she forgot she is worthy of love, attention, and effort too. Any mom, daughter, auntie, grandma, sister. Her.

All sizes, all ages, all starting points. You do not have to have it together to walk through this door. You just have to be willing to let us help you see from the inside out.

  • The best way is to sign up for an initial consultation on our website. You will be asked to fill out a brief intake form and select a time for us to visit. We will talk about where you are currently and what kind of support best fits your needs. There is no pressure and no wrong place to begin.

You can also use our contact form, or email lisa@altogrteherbeautifulco.com for questions or more information.

  • Before your first session, you will complete a brief intake form. This is not a test — it is how we get to know you before you arrive so that your time with us is fully yours from the moment you walk in.

The intake form covers your goals, your preferences, and a few personal touches — including what you would like to enjoy during your session. We want to know how we can make you feel at home and cared for before the work even begins.

  • For now, yes — in person. But the vision is much larger than one city.

It is Lisa’s goal to develop a team of Confidence Coaches and Styling Consultants who share this mission — trained, trusted women who can carry ABCo into their own communities. Women everywhere, in every city, every season, every size, every story, need to hear what Song of Solomon 4:7 says about them.

This is a beautiful freedom movement. The goal is that no woman within reach of an ABCo coach ever has to live another day believing the lies of comparison and that she is not enough.

You were created as a masterpiece. Start living like one.

  • This is one of the most important questions we can answer, because they are genuinely different missions.

Counseling is a licensed clinical practice. It looks backward — into your history, your wounds, your past — to understand and heal what went wrong. It is deeply valuable work, and there are situations where it is exactly what a woman needs.

Coaching walks alongside you toward a destination. It is forward-facing and goal-oriented. A coach is less like a therapist and more like a mentor — someone who believes in where you are going and helps you get there. We start from where you are today and move toward who you want to become.

At ABCo, we do coaching. We will celebrate your progress, challenge your thinking, help you identify what is holding you back, and walk with you toward the woman you already are on the inside. If what surfaces along the way requires deeper clinical work, we will connect you with a licensed counselor from our network. We know our lane, and we stay in it.

  • Lisa Dean is pursuing her certification through the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC) — one of the most respected credentialing bodies for faith-based coaching and counseling. That certification will be added here upon completion.

But the credential that matters most is the one she lived.

Lisa gained so much weight not caring for herself and pouring into her career, marriage, children, friends, relatives, etc. Now she has lost 90 pounds! Not because someone told her she needed to. Because she finally believed she was worth taking care of. That journey — of looking in the mirror and learning to love the woman looking back — is what built this business as a byproduct. She helped a friend because of her own journey and then began to hear The Lord speaking to her about sharing this with other women. She is not standing at the top of a mountain telling you to climb. She is walking the path and reaching back to take your hand.

She has walked through her own transformation. She knows what it costs and what it frees. And she has been called to help other women see what He sees in them.

  • What is the difference between in-store and online personal shopping?

In-store personal shopping is a half-day experience where we shop together and build a real wardrobe outcome — boutique or budget-friendly, your choice. Online personal shopping delivers curated selections to your inbox, ideal if you are not local or prefer to shop from home. Both end with pieces that actually work for you.

    In-store: $350 – $400  |  Online: $175 – $225

  • A full audit of what you own, editing out what no longer serves you, and shopping to fill the gaps — all in one package. Women who do this describe it as the first time their closet has felt like theirs.

    $400 – $500 flat

  • Not at all. Some women come for style only. Some come for coaching and never touch the wardrobe and other external expression work. Many find that doing both creates the deepest shift — when the inside and outside move together, something real happens. But you lead. We follow your pace.

  • An in-office try-on and styling session with boutique pieces available in the studio for use as a tool or for lease or purchase. A great way to experience ABCo in person before committing to a larger package.

    $125 – $175 flat

  • Twice a year your wardrobe needs intentional attention — storage rotation, assessing what is coming back in, adding targeted pieces where needed. Keeps your closet working for you instead of against you with seasonal change.

    $250 – $300 flat

  • Reach out and we will talk through it. ABCo is built around women and what they need — and that does not always fit a standard menu.

For services not listed, we offer a complimentary consultation and will provide a custom quote. Examples of what this might include:

    •  Bridal party styling — preparing a bride and her people for one of the most significant days of her life

    •  Speaking engagements — Lisa speaking at your event, retreat, church, or conference

    •  Group sessions — confidence coaching or styling brought to a small group, team, or gathering

    •  Women’s retreats — a full or partial retreat experience built around the ABCo mission

    •  Any other situation where a woman or a group of women needs to be reminded of who they are

If you are dreaming something up and wondering if ABCo could be part of it — the answer is probably yes. Just ask.

  • Think of Queen Esther. She did not spend months preparing herself out of vanity. She prepared herself to stand before the king on behalf of her people. Her purpose was everything. The preparation was how she honored the moment she was made for.

We are the bride. And our Heavenly Groom has already declared it over us — altogether beautiful, no flaw in you. Not when you lose the weight. Not when the skin clears up. Not when the outfit is finally right. Now.

So, when we help a woman choose what to wear, how to carry herself, or what colors light up her face — we are not fixing her. We are helping her step into a presentation of the masterpiece she is (Eph 2:10). The styling, the clothing, the fragrance, the hair — these are forms of honoring The King. They are preparation. They are expression. They are the outward display of an inward truth she has finally started to believe about herself.

That is what makes this different from fashion. Fashion tells you who you should be. ABCo helps you stop listening to cultural lies and show up as His masterpiece.

  • No. And this matters deeply to us.

The world has spent decades telling women that beauty means tall, thin, symmetrical, and young. That is not beauty — that is a narrow set of physical features that has caused immeasurable harm to women who were never meant to fit that mold.

Physical features are just features. They are part of how a person can express themselves, but they are never the source of beauty. The source is the heart and our Creator. A woman who knows who she is as His Daughter, who is secure in her worth, who leads with love — that woman is RADIANT. Every single time.

He thinks you are altogether beautiful. We are just here to help you believe it.

  • We have built, and continue to build, a trusted network of professionals who share our values and our commitment to women. When you need something beyond what we offer directly, we will connect you with the right person — never a referral we don’t believe in, never a direction we haven’t thought through.

    Our growing network includes:

    •  Licensed Counselors — for clinical work that goes deeper than coaching

    •  Cosmetologists — hair, color, and styling professionals

    •  Estheticians — skincare, facials, and skin health

    •  Beauty Spa Services — full-service wellness and beauty care

    •  Fitness Trainers — movement and strength, approached from a place of love, not punishment

    •  Gyms and Wellness Facilities — local partners who understand our mission

    •  Additional specialists as needs arise — we are always expanding

We are not a one-stop shop. We are a starting point and a guide. Whatever a woman needs to step into the fullness of who she is — we will help her find it.

  • Online coaching carries the same heart as an in-person session — the same attention, the same commitment, the same belief in who you are. What it cannot fully replicate is the sensory experience of being in the room together. We acknowledge that honestly.

What it can do is meet you exactly where you are. Whether you are across town or across the country, you will be seen and heard. Every session, online or in person, opens and closes in prayer. That does not change based on the platform.

If you are not local and online is your only option, do not let that stop you. The work is real regardless of the distance.

  • Every session — coaching or styling, in person or online — opens and closes in prayer.

This is not performative. It is an acknowledgment that the work we are doing together matters, that the woman in the room matters, and that we are not doing this alone. You are welcome to simply receive it if prayer is not your practice. It will always be offered with love and never with pressure.

  • Safety and trust are not assumed — they are built. From the first conversation, it is Lisa’s goal that every woman feels genuinely seen and heard, not assessed or managed. What you share in a session stays in a session. Your story is yours.

We will never share your personal information, your journey, or your struggles without your explicit permission. What happens in this space belongs to you.

If at any point something surfaces that is beyond the scope of coaching — something that requires clinical or licensed care — we will say so honestly and help you find the right support. We will never be out of our lane and pretend otherwise.

  • From the moment you walk in, a coaching session is designed to feel like a gift to yourself — not a clinical appointment, not a formal sit-down, but a space where you can exhale and be honest.

Based on your intake form, we will have your beverage of choice waiting — a rich cup of coffee, a pot of hot tea, sparkling water, fresh juice, or a non-alcoholic mimosa to mark the occasion. You will be settled and comfortable before we begin.

Alongside your drink, expect something beautiful to snack on. Exotic chocolate, hand-selected truffles, biscotti, tea cookies — the kind of spread that tells you someone thought about you before you arrived. Because we did.

This is not a consultation. It is a pampered experience. You are not just a client — you are a woman who deserves to be treated like one, and that starts the moment you choose to show up for yourself.

  • Everything above — the warm welcome, your beverage waiting, the beautiful snacks — and then some.

A styling session at ABCo includes a beautifully appointed private dressing room and access to our curated wardrobe closet. This is where the experience becomes something you cannot get anywhere else.

The wardrobe closet is stocked intentionally so you can feel the difference — different fabrics against your skin, different cuts on your actual body, different prints and accessories styled together in real time. Not on a screen. Not on a mannequin. On you, in a mirror, with someone alongside you who knows how to help you believe in your God given beauty.

Many women have never had this experience. They have never stood in a room where everything was there for them to experience, tried things they would have walked past in a store, and discovered that something they never would have picked for themselves is exactly right. That is what this space is designed to create.

    It is pampering with purpose.

  • We currently accept cash and the following digital payment options: Venmo, Cash App, Apple Pay, and PayPal. We want the payment part to be simple so we can focus on what matters — you.

  • Yes — and we would be deeply grateful if you did.

ABCo’s mission is about reaching women. Every woman who walks through this process and begins to believe in her own worth carries that light back out into her world — into her home, her friendships, her workplace, her church. And it is contagious!

Your privacy will always be protected. We will never publicly share your personal story or journey without your express permission. But if ABCo has meant something to you, telling the women in your life — a friend who has gone quiet, a daughter who is struggling, a colleague who has forgotten herself — that is the most powerful thing you can do. Word of mouth from a woman who has been changed is worth more than any advertisement we could ever run.

We would be honored to be introduced to someone you love

  • Yes — and honestly, we trust that when the transformation is real, women will want to.

However, we are not going to spend time convincing anyone to share their story, because we have seen what happens when a woman truly begins to believe she is altogether beautiful. She cannot help but tell someone. It spills out of her naturally — in conversation, in the way she carries herself, in the friend she grabs by the arm and says, “you need to talk to Lisa.”

That is the testimony we are after - a woman whose life has been changed from the inside out and shares that freely because something real happened to her.

When you are ready — and we believe you will be — we would be honored to share your story with care. A written reflection, a short video, a simple quote. Your words, your way, whenever the time feels right.

Your story could be the thing that finally reaches the woman who needed to hear it. That is never a small thing.
